Remodeling: Great Teamwork Makes It Fun

We have a pretty aggressive schedule for completing the enhancements to the Newburyport condo:

  • Week 1 - exterior punchlist, basement, demo 2nd floor bathroom
  • Week 2 - tile floor to ceiling fan, update 2nd floor bath, floor prep
  • Week 3 - finish 2nd floor bath, demo 3rd floor bath, floor prep
  • Week 4 - install new flooring (2 floors), update 3rd floor bathroom
  • Week 5 - stairs, finish 3rd floor bath, begin decorating touches
  • Week 6 - basic decorating, final repair punchlist

The big challenge here is coordinating design choices quickly, locating the selected products and getting them on site for installation. Everyone helped this week to get the 2nd floor bathroom done (today):

  • Jennifer of Jennifer Myers Interiors researched vanities online
  • Tina at My Handyman located the vanity for the 2nd floor bathroom, and had a technician pick it up the next morning
  • Jennifer purchased the counter top, sink and faucet but couldn’t find online photos to email client for approval so …
  • Jennifer brought the fixtures to Tina in Portsmouth, NH, who went to the client’s business to get approval and drove everything down to the condo in Newburyport, MA.

A busy week but satisfying for everyone!
