Remodeling Schedules Can Be Tricky

We’re getting close to wrapping up the Newburyport condo remodel. It’s tricky orchestrating all the pieces. As I needed to write them down, I thought I’d share the planning and hopefully help someone out there. Our customer’s goal is to wrap up phase 1 asap - bathrooms, flooring and a deep clean.

We couldn’t buy the stair pie treads pre-finished from the same manufacturer, so we decided to finish all the steps the same way.

Left to complete (yes, the punchlist is a little longer offline):

  • Grout the bathroom walls.
  • Install vanity - sink, counter top and faucet arrive today.
  • Paint the master bath - colors approved this morning.
  • Install the remaining light fixtures that were ordered on the web.
  • Re-finish the wood floors on the first floor - worn in dining area.
  • Stain/finish stairs - just picked up the pie treads yesterday.
  • Paint the new risers.
  • Install neo-angle shower door when it arrives.

When all done, a deep cleaning to get rid of all the dust from the work just completed. Then onto painting and furnishing the condo.
